About Me I've been playing Star Wars Galaxies since 2005, beginning my journey on the Lowca and Wanderhome servers. Over the years, I've played nearly every aspect of SWG, but my primary professions have been Jedi, Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, Trader, and, more recently, Spy. During the live era, I played primarily as Mygas Winbee and Boset Titecrieg. I served as a Restuss General, organizing and calling engagements during large-scale PvP battles, and earned the title of Collector Extraordinaire through my dedication to space crafting collections. I also developed a reputation as one of the stronger Jedi PvPers on my server—all while being just 12 years old. I returned to the galaxy through SWG Legends in 2022, bringing years of experience with me and an even greater interest in understanding the game's mechanics. Weaponsmithing Weaponsmithing has become one of my biggest passions in SWG. I've spent countless hours researching resources, experimenting with crafting mechanics, and refining my methods for consistently producing capped and overcapped weapons. Today, I maintain an extensive collection of top-tier weapon crafting resources, including some of the best available on the server, and regularly produce capped and overcapped weapons through my business, Winbee's Whimsical Wares (WWW LLC). That knowledge didn't come overnight. Weapon crafting has an incredible amount of nuance, and much of what I've learned came through trial and error, expensive mistakes, and plenty of experimentation. My goal with these guides is to share that experience so other players can understand the mechanics, avoid unnecessary expenses, and produce exceptional weapons of their own. Combat & Spy Combat has always been a major part of my SWG experience. I've dedicated countless hours to learning every combat profession, understanding their strengths and weaknesses, and developing effective builds for both PvE and PvP. While I'm comfortable performing at a high level with every combat profession, Spy has become my specialty. All three of my combat characters are fully geared Spies, equipped with capped weapons and optimized armor. Through extensive testing and refinement, I've achieved over 7 million DPS as a ranged Spy in PvE, with even higher results using melee builds. I've earned multiple Holonet Arena Champion victories across different characters and have consistently performed among the top Spies in PvE, while remaining highly competitive in PvP. My PvP experience also extends beyond Spy. I've reached Imperial Champion with both Officer and Jedi, demonstrating my familiarity with different combat styles and roles. What I enjoy most is exploring the finer details of combat mechanics—finding ways to improve damage, survivability, ability rotations, and overall performance, even when a build already appears fully optimized. Why I Create Guides After more than two decades of playing Star Wars Galaxies, I'm still discovering new mechanics, testing new strategies, and finding ways to improve. That's part of what makes this game special to me. I've benefited from the knowledge shared by other players over the years, and I want to contribute to that same community by creating detailed, practical guides based on firsthand experience. Whether it's explaining the intricacies of capped weapon crafting, optimizing a Spy build, or tackling some of the game's most challenging content, my goal is to make complex mechanics easier to understand and help others achieve results they might not have thought possible. I don't claim to know absolutely everything about SWG, and I'm always willing to learn something new. But I do take pride in thoroughly testing the things I write about and understanding why they work. If these guides save you some credits, help you improve your build, or teach you something new about a game we've all spent far too many hours playing, then they've accomplished exactly what I intended. — Goldfinger
